This event was a small gathering of kids and families and staff who have worked at this center. Bounce tent, pizza, DJ and other activities. I was scheduled late in the day so things had tailed off considerably.
There were only two kids who came up, but they stuck to it for the whole set. I gave them CD’s after the show. Everyone else kinda hung out at the tables, but perhaps that’s a function of the exhaustion of dealing with cancer in the family.
A strong line of storms was bearing down on us, so I was glad I started earlier than scheduled. I got the show in, the folks appreciated the effort and I loaded up before the storm hit. All in all, another good gig.
