I returned to downtown Allentown for their annual tree lighting event, with Santa arriving by fire engine, several choral groups and dance groups, with me in between. I had lots of kids up on stage with me, dancing, singing, banging along – it must be a niche, but it makes it possible to stretch the songs and have some pickin’ time as well.
It was 40 degrees, and it was a tough start, but things actually warmed up, digitally from there, and having the stage active and jumping make it so much the warmer. I’ll be back for their New Years Eve kids stage at 6 pm.
I got paid in cold cash, as well.
