We had a rare high school assembly in Belmar, NJ for 350 9 -11 group in a big gym. Two minutes before the show, I realized that one speaker was’t working, so I scrambled to scope it out. Nothing worked, so we did it mono. The kids were fairly reserved but the show went well, and the teachers did appreciate it. We were to share the gig with a rap group that failed to show up on time, and were asked to do another 20 minutes. Unfortunately, we didn’t build an extra half set into our plans, so we regretfully declined.
Two hour trip there and back, but glad to be playing again with my friends. Farmers’ Market tomorrow. Last of the season….
