We headed up into the Blackboard Capitol of the World for a Friday afternoon assembly in Slatington for 150 8th graders.  It was so fine to be able to drive 40 minutes to a gig, even with traffic.  We’ve played at this middle school a while ago, with nice stage and lights.

Kevin made this one, cool, with Donnie and Nick.  This was the show where every chord I used caused some flux.  My thoughts on the process. It’s particularly tough to prove yourselves to an 8th grade audiences as ‘authentic’ and still ‘educational’.  And then have instruments fritz in the telling.  The lads played on and things never got above nuisance level, but it diverted my energy away from the kids, old guy that I am.

Nice to play in PA.

Dawgs in Kempton on Saturday.
