Having put on 500 miles over the last 3 days, it was nice to travel a block for today’s farmers market. I had a two hour set and looked forward to stretching out on some tunes and working on some of my ‘adult’ stuff. As it turned out, there were some kids on hand so I leaned in their direction and was glad I had my bag with me.

The kids were a lot of fun, two sisters and a young girl who had been terribly shy last year, and we had a lot of back and forth. Still, it was a good session in some 90 degree weather. I finished up, bought some potatoes and onions and headed back home, pretty much exhausted and soaked to the skin. Righteous work.
