Spring on Fourth and What’s On Third is the title for this community festival – it’s an effort to have a street festival, encourage Lehigh students to come on down off the hill, and have folks walking the pavement. I was asked to play a set on a vacant lot at the corner of 3rd and New Streets. I had a 12 noon slot in front of nobody in particular, as folks walked off the bridge and headed up to where the real chili action was on 4th St. The best thing I can say is that I stopped traffic – but perhaps that was the traffic light.
I did sound from 11 am til 4 pm as well as playing my one set. I found myself pretty much bushed at the end of the affair. I got my check so all is well.
