From the big stage to the local. Having experienced the wonderful Philly Folk Fest, I returned to my humble neighborhood farmers’ market today. That’s not a bad thing, though. It was a good two hour session of tunes and some good interpersonal interactions amongst moms and kids, grandmoms and kids and a whole raft of Lehigh students with their parents cruising through. A mixed bag, to be sure.

None the less, it was nice to sit and play for an extended time in a low pressure situation. But, you know, the pressure is still on for me, to play to the best of my ability, and I enjoy that challenge where ever I play.

It didn’t rain. I sold a CD to a mom who loved Jelly in the Dish and that paid for my fresh vegetables. A good afternoon’s work.
