Thinking I might be rained out for a second time at this small market north of Bethlehem, I figured I’d head up in spite of the torrential downpour that happened an hour before my time. It turned out to be fine and I got to play my two hours of tunes from 4 til 6 pm. The turnout was sparse but there was a gazebo with power there so I set up under cover and opted for playing dry and electrified.

It was another two hour set played straight through in front of practically no one – I’m getting used to this – and the time actually passed quite quickly. The vendors that were there enjoyed the music as did the market manager.

I did the gig though the ‘check is in the mail’, small as it is. But, again, like the old saying, “It ain’t about the fish, it’s about the fishin’.”
