My friend, Tom Church, invited me to take part in the first effort to publicize the efforts to secure this farm north of Bethlehem at a gathering. As I called Tom to get specific directions, he informed me he had just run over his guitar, a custom model made by Frank Fenocio. He was visibly shaken by the incident, and I could understand why, if it were me.

I backed Tom up on some of his stuff, Dave Reber and LA Williams followed with some hammered dulcimer and fiddle tunes and I joined in with them. I then shared a bunch of my music with Tom and LA joining in with me. It was a beautiful day, and though there were few people, it was good to sit and play with friends. A low key day, which is okay.
