I headed out to a fairly large school in downtown Trenton that RockRoots played at last year. This assembly was for the K – 2nd grades, about 250 kids in the gym. It was a lot of fun, with kids dancing and singing. I notice that in these schools, the kids don’t always sing along, so I have to really work on getting them accustomed to doing that. It seems to be an unfamiliar thing for them. I ended up with All Around the Kitchen, and, again, the kids more in tune with moving as opposed to singing and dancing at the same time.
A good session, though.
