We split from PA about 6 am and hit miserable traffic on Rt. 78 near Clinton. It was nip and tuck to get to the school, but we got there about 8:35 for an 8:45 show. Thank goodness that the Middle school was flexible, so we hit about 9 am. 250 6th graders in a nice auditorium. The kids were great and responded well, as only 6th graders can. (7th and 8th graders are much more uptight.)
We play this school every year and it continues to be a great experience, in spite of the early hour and the traffic. Close to 200 miles, but we’re done by10 am and that’s cool.
