I must say I’ll miss this farmers’ market, but not because it’s four hours long. It is a pretty big one, and the turn out is nice. I do get to chat with friends, acquaintances and new folks as well. The vendors appreciate the music, too.

Today, a young girl who’s family was selling herbal remedies across the way came over and we jammed on some songs. It was nice to see her come out of her shell quickly, though her mom told her to thank me and ‘sign off’ for the day. A little later she came over to play and brought a plastic cup thinking she could earn some tips as well. That was humorous and she eventually went off to do cartwheels instead. I’m sure my mandolin case ‘brimming with one dollar bills was attractive.

Not a big day at the tip counter for me though.
