The GD OM folks are recording for a special “Best of OM”, and we’ve had several sessions already, but today was my chance to do my two song’s worth, along with Dina Hall. I plowed through Giants and Jelly in the Dish, and knocked both of them back on the first take. Kind of amazing in that I was operating on fumes by late afternoon, but then again, I was warmed up and not in the seaward breeze.
Open Mike followed and I did Voodoo Chile/Irish Spring on mandolin, Lessons from Pete, and a scattered version of Sailing Shoes. Long day, but one filled with music, old friends and new horizons.
