Early Friday morning split from PA for North Plainfield, NJ for two RockRoots assemblies at an ES. Another gym, another stage, but each show brings us new faces and minds to play with. The show is consistently good, and we, as band members, could fall into complacency, but we don’t. The reason lies in the audience reactions, regardless of grade level. We lay it out honestly, and we get back honest appreciation from the kids and the teachers.
Yes, we were done by 11:30 am (AM!) on a Friday, and headed back to the Lehigh Valley by noon.
