I snuck in early on the list, through some circuitous means (shh…), to an early slot on the Open Mike at GD’s. I prefaced my set with commentary on my recent recording sessions with my kids album. I did ‘Figure It Out’, a new Michael Cooney tune, and followed with ‘Jelly in the Dish’, both works in progress. Starting to feel how to play these live.
New stuff. and exciting.
As always, the GD OM makes me very, very proud of what I (we) have done for live, creative music in Bethlehem. What a great space for ART. ..and it happens every night.
