I got a last minute call to play for Brookside’s family brunch on Sunday, to play for two hours while families ate. I’ve played their Christmas brunch for many years, so I’ve gotten to know some of the kids and families. I did a one hour set in the ball room, with kids coming up and playing instruments with me, dancing and carrying on. A ventriloquist came in for the second hour and I went into the front and played acoustically for the next hour. Both sets were good and interactive. Nice, cause I needed the money. Here comes the storm….
