I’m starting to get some nice library gigs from Young Audiences in PA, and today was a good one in downtown Pottstown, PA.  A mix of mom’s/grandmoms with small kids and a large group of kids from the local day care with a wide diversity of ages.  The kids warmed up pretty much right away, and the infection led to the older kids who, along with their counselors, got involved.  Even the elder lady librarians at the counter were doing the Baby Shark.

This was interesting in that it was in the middle of the library, old marble columns, old stacks of books, so it was center stage for the whole library, unlike some gigs where I’m usually shuttled off to the children’s or community room.  It was great to fill the old place with song and dance.
