….a wonderful evening at my old home town library in Northford tonight.  I stopped in at Ron’s house to check in before the gig, picked up Rosalie, petted Sam and headed to the library.  A nice group of moms, dads, grandfolk, many of whom I recall from my gigs at East Wharf in Madison.  The kids were exceptionally hip, knowing a lot of my tunes, responsive and friendly.  It was loose, and all had a good time.

I introduced Rosalie to Deb, the children’s librarian, and hopefully Rosalie will start volunteering there.  Good for both of them.  Also, Dave D. (fellow picker) and his wife came down to catch the festivities, and it was good to have them both in the audience.  Many nice moments.

360 miles round trip, and worth every mile.
