I was asked to return to this wonderful community benefit in Coopersburg on Sunday by my friends Christine and Craig Thatcher at a church in PA.  They put together a nice array of live music and dance for this truly community event, raising money for three folks in their community (a rare thing, indeed), with the food and hoopla that goes with lots of local events.  Craig is a good friend, and now major player/representative for Martin Guitars, and I’m in this for him.

Not too many kids, so I was able to mix up my material with kids and adults.  The sound was great, so I could lean into my guitar and wail.  Felt good.  And I got to play for some of the real pros (Craig, Craig and Patty Kostelnik) in the audience, as well.  …..and it didn’t rain….

Nice to surprise people with my music, some kids came up and tamborined with me, many nice exchanges with the folks (including a young girl experimenting with her grand  mom’s digital camera, …..security!!), community food, and a good cause.

A good day to play.
