Ansel texted me on Saturday about an opportunity to play for a Vegan Mother’s Day Brunch in Hereford, and, since free food was involved, I accepted. Small group of folks but some great food by Wendy, and nice accompaniment by Ansel. I sold a couple of CD’s, but I wasn’t looking for pay on this one. As I explained to Ansel, I’m accepting more ‘rouge’ gigs now a days, just for the opportunity to play. And that’s okay. Great tofu and soup, and didn’t miss meat or butter (too much). Off to Bethlehem’s Art Show.
