The band finally took the stage and churned out the rehearsed tunes, and the audience gave us great feedback.  Great interaction with the folks, nice wittisisms between the band, and the music flowed magnificently. 

 

Being a six-piece band allows for the mistakes to hide under the power, so there was a comfort level for all of us.  Walking Stick featured the new ‘walker’ tango, to the amusement of all, Hub did a fine ‘Song for You’ under great pressure, Denny held up the bass end, and Jeff was right on on drums.  Chris nailed his steel parts and Reid growled on guitar.  and I was funny.  Encore, and a remarkable feeling amongst the band and amongst the audience, that we had experienced a magical evening.  and it was…..
