I was privileged to be asked to part of the Allentown Arts Museum’s Rock and Roll series. They’re featuring a photo exhibit of great R&R pictures – pretty wild. I was asked to put together a solo R&R show, so I borrowed heavily from RockRoots, added some banjo, electric guitar and plenty of hands-on shakers.
Both shows were an incredible mixture of elders, families, kids, toddlers and the museum guard (a pleasant fellow…). There was enough intelligent talk, and many instances of kids quirks and good music that I believe made a good show.
These are the really nice shows, with folks who are hungry for the arts, and are willing to go down town to the local art museum on a Sunday and take it all in….
