I had a good gig at the Nazareth Memorial Library this Saturday afternoon. Good pay (thanks to Martin Guitar) in a very nice room at the library. A good turnout of young families, quite a few shy kids and appreciative librarians. It’s been a while since I’ve done my early childhood material and occasionally felt a little off, but with a group of active kids to work off of, it turned out strong. Towards the end of the set, I got to get out my new African bag of instruments for the first time since my big ripoff four weeks ago. The kids went nuts.

I sold 5 CDs which was good and the librarians loved what I did. Sometimes I’m too close to the process to really gauge how good the set is, so I have take in whatever feedback I can get from the after-show audience. It was good.
