A slow day at the Farmers’ Market, with Lehigh in session and a nice early fall day. A few folks took in a few songs, including a lady who tossed in a $20 in the mandolin case saying she was pleasantly surprised to stop by and hear me playing. Another Lehigh fellow came down at the end and said he enjoyed sitting off in the distance, listening to the last part of my set.

I played well and straight through the two hours. Since there is little reaction from the market in general, I tend to play for myself and try to rise to my own demanding standards. It’s a common mindset for my nowadays, and that’s okay.
