Next to last school gig for the year in central NJ on a Thursday afternoon. It was a pleasant ES school, with the kids getting up and dancing, having a good time. Once again, we run into a custodian who plays an instrument (this time, drums) and we get to relate with folks who play for fun and creativity.
I remain amazed at how good the lads in the band are, performing these gigs in the middle of anonymity on a Thursday afternoon in the middle of NJ.
