I sat in again with Rick Moclock’s radio show tonight, part of his Godfrey’s Chronicles series, a mixture of Godfrey’s stories, live music and GD performers. We featured John Gorka, Jaime Brockett, Stan Rogers, John Hartford, Bruce Katz, Skyline, but had some skips in the live GD material I brought in. Old ‘handmade’ CD’s don’t always work on commercial equipment. But I jumped in and played ‘How Legends Are Made’ from John Gorka when the Stan CD bolluxed.
Nice format, and Rick (Mo) is easy to work with. Good venue to talk about the back stories of Godfrey’s, and how real and wonderful these great musicians were when they visited the club.
