I had a one PM gathering of about 180 older folks at a community center in Palmer, PA. I had done this a couple of years ago, and found it a challenge and a pleasure. These folks gather once a month, hear a speaker and play bingo and eat donuts. And they are out being social, and that’s the best part. So, these events are fun, and I get to spread around what I do, try to engage the folks with folk music, sing-alongs, and my usual patter on life as a performer. It was a fairly good response, though I’m sure some folks scratch their heads on my form of entertainment. I get to play for a different audience and learn from them.
