I’ve had this one on the books for awhile, and I was asked to play for the cocktail hour and the ceremony. I worked out two new tunes – ‘I’m Yours’ by Jason Mraz, a clever and up-beat popish tune that was a gas to learn, and variations on Pachabel’s Canon in D, which has been keeping me up at night. One of those pure chord progressions that keeps on going…. Amazing. I did my folk best and I appreciate the challenge. The cocktail hour was fun, mixing mandolin and upbeat guitar. The grandmom of the bride was dancing with her family, so that’s a good sign. Best wishes for a happy marriage, Joe and Sarah.
